Open new city quarter Eurovea with us!

On Saturday, April 24, shopping boulevard Eurovea Galleria will become even more attractive and beautiful. After nearly three and a half years of construction, the new city quarter will completely open to the public with a ceremony of handing over the main square and promenade to Bratislava municipality. By opening the promenade and park at the embankment, Bratislava will now be able to enjoy the river and transform itself to a real "City on Danube".

In terms of lifestyle in Bratislava, this occasion is unique and so is the program, accompanying the event throughout the day. Already from 11 a.m., central Eurovea square will be filled with dozens of dancers, musicians and other artists to create a colourful mosaic appealing to the little ones as well as grown-ups. A Giant Circus with it's entourage of giant puppets, giant stilts, competitions and stunts will be in the new city quarter and in early evening hours we will launch the new Bratislava monthly entitled Metropola - The Old Town City Quarter.

The evening will be concluded by the ceremony of handing over the public areas to the municipality, accompanied by an astonishing artistic experience - performance of Spanish artist group LA FURA DELS BAS and a concert of the unique music piece of art Under My Spell by soprano Adriana Kučerová, conducted by Oskár Rózsa. Musical performances will be enriched also by Martin Chodúr and Svetlana Rymarenko. The unforgettable evening will culminate by a grand fireworks show.
